GENMA is a four piece indie-alternative rock band based in Dublin, Ireland. We formed in early 2022 while studying our 3rd year of music together. With each member drawing upon varying influences (MBV, DIIV, Gilla Band, Just Mustard, The Beths, Radiohead etc), we feel as though our music is best described as a wall of sound meeting a sea breeze (of influences).

We have seen great success sharing stages with fantastic bands all across Dublin and Cork, performing as part of Ex Oh Promotions' 'The Next Big Thing'  showcase as well as Old Crow Promotions' GAZEFEST. We also organised our own first headline show in The Workman's Club on June 16th 2023 as a launch party for our debut single.

We are currently planning the next release following our debut single 'How Bad' which released on June 16th 2023.
